I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Since I was little, I was always looking to develop my spirituality. I always felt that there was something else than what the teachers taught in Religion classes. My favorite class in school was History, specifically studying the world’s ancient civilizations, including the Peruvian one, of course.

I searched avidly for ways to grow as a person and spiritually throughout my life, reading books, watching videos, and asking questions, attending seminars and classes, being active in Church. In 2008, I moved to the United States to marry the love of my life. Little by little, my family and career responsibilities were taking more and more time from my daily schedule, leaving less and less time to continue that search.

It was not until 2020 that something changed when me and my family got Covid-19, including my 90-year-old dad. I was forced to stay at home, and even when I was sick, I had to take care of my dad. I almost lost him, but pretty much by a miracle, he survived pneumonia and recovered completely after a couple of months. This awakening experience changed my life. I started seeing everything from a different perspective where spirituality, family, and the development of one-self had the priority.

After a spiritual retreat with family in Sedona, Arizona, I decided to reduce my Real Estate career workload and started meditating and researching. That is when the idea of VIRU Peruvian Treasures came to me. I felt the need to go back to my Peruvian roots. Today, I'm studying Metaphysics at the University of Sedona and got my Shamanic Reiki Master certification. My goal is to help others through teachings and tools to develop and maintain a spiritual practice that will allow them to enjoy a fulfilled, happier, and healthier life.
